These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of listingsbiz.com and its services (together, “Listings Biz”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, submitting a listing or using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Listings Biz.
1. Who can use Listings Biz
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding agreement.
- If you list a business, you confirm that you own it or are authorized to represent it.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password secure and do not share your account. You are responsible for all activity on it.
- Tell us at info@listingsbiz.com right away if you suspect someone else has used your account.
- One person may hold one account. Accounts created automatically or in bulk are not allowed.
3. Business listings
Listing a business on Listings Biz is free. By submitting a listing, you confirm that:
- The business is real, lawful and actually operating.
- All details are accurate and not misleading, including the name, contact details, address, category and description.
- You have the right to use the logo, images and text you upload.
- You will keep the listing up to date and delete it if the business closes.
Links: links are not allowed in the business name, tagline or description. Add your website and social profiles only in the fields provided for them. Submissions that break this rule are blocked automatically.
4. Content that is not allowed
You may not submit or link to content that:
- Is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive or promotes illegal goods or services.
- Impersonates another person, brand or business, or lists a business you do not represent.
- Infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights.
- Is adult or sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, violent or discriminatory.
- Promotes gambling, weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, get-rich-quick schemes, or financial products without the required licences.
- Is spam, keyword stuffing, duplicate listings, or was written mainly to build backlinks.
- Contains malware, phishing or harmful code.
5. Review and moderation
- New listings are reviewed before they go live. While waiting, their status is Pending.
- We may approve, reject, edit for formatting, suspend or remove any listing, at our discretion. Where we can, we tell you the reason, and you may fix and resubmit a rejected listing.
- Approval does not mean we have verified the business or endorse it.
- We may limit how many listings you can submit in a period of time to prevent spam.
- The “Verified VIP” badge is granted only by Listings Biz and cannot be self-assigned.
6. Permission to display your content
You keep ownership of your content. By submitting a listing, you give Listings Biz a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, format and promote it (including your business name and logo) on the site, in search results, in social media posts and in other promotion of Listings Biz. This licence ends when your listing is deleted, except for copies already shared or held in backups for a limited time.
7. Acceptable use of the site
You agree not to:
- Scrape, copy or harvest listings or contact details in bulk, or use them for unsolicited marketing.
- Use bots or scripts to create accounts, submit listings or inflate view counts.
- Try to bypass security checks, access other people’s accounts, or interfere with the site’s operation.
- Use Listings Biz in any way that breaks the law or harms other users.
8. Our content and brand
The Listings Biz name, logo, design, software and site content (excluding listings submitted by users) belong to Listings Biz. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission. You may link to listing pages and share them freely.
9. Emails
We send emails about your account and listings, such as approvals, rejections and password resets. These are part of the service. Occasional news and offers can be turned off at any time using the unsubscribe link or in Edit Profile.
10. Paid features
Listing a business is free. If we offer paid features in the future, their price, billing and cancellation terms will be shown before you buy, and will apply in addition to these Terms.
11. Third-party websites and businesses
Listings link to websites and services we do not control. Any dealings you have with a listed business, including purchases, bookings and payments, are between you and that business. We are not responsible for their products, services, content or conduct. Please do your own checks before you hire or buy.
12. Disclaimer
Listings Biz is provided “as is” and “as available”. Listing information is supplied by users, and we do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete or current. We do not promise that the site will always be available, error-free or secure, or that a listing will improve your search rankings or bring you customers.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Listings Biz will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or your dealings with any listed business. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50.
14. Indemnity
You agree to compensate Listings Biz for claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your listings, your content, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
15. Ending your use
- You can delete your listings at any time from Account → My Businesses, and ask us to close your account by emailing info@listingsbiz.com.
- We may suspend or close accounts and remove listings that break these Terms, are inactive for a long time, or put users or the site at risk.
- Sections that by their nature should continue (for example sections 6, 12, 13 and 14) survive after your account ends.
16. Reporting a listing
If you think a listing is fake, infringes your rights or breaks these Terms, email info@listingsbiz.com with the listing link and the reason. For copyright or trademark complaints, please include your contact details, the work you own, and a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will notify account holders by email or with a notice on the site. Continuing to use Listings Biz after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Disputes and applicable law
Listings Biz serves users worldwide. If you have a concern, please contact us first. Most issues can be solved quickly by email, and we will try in good faith to resolve any dispute within 30 days. Nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have under the mandatory consumer or data protection laws of the country where you live.
If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Listings Biz about the site.
