If your HTML has a <title> and a <meta name="description">, both boxes are filled in for you when you paste or upload the HTML. You can change them. If a box stays empty we use your name and the start of your page.

What we add for Google automatically

  • Title, description and canonical address.
  • Open Graph tags for sharing.
  • Structured data (a Person or the right business type) with your social links.
  • Your page is in the Listings Biz sitemap, and our team asks Google to index it when we approve it.

Your own tracking (optional)

Paste the ID only, never code. We check the format and add the tracking to your live page only (not in previews).

Search Console, step by step

  1. In Google Search Console add a URL-prefix property for your page's address.
  2. Choose the HTML tag verification method.
  3. Copy the code from the tag (the part inside content="…") and paste it in the Search Console tag field in your VIP tab.
  4. Once your page is live, press Verify in Search Console.

Your page can only run the tracking you enter here, by ID. Tracking you paste into the HTML is removed.

Using tracking may need a cookie notice for your visitors in some countries. Check the rules where your visitors live.
