Step 5 is Google and tracking. Everything here is optional, but a good title and description help people click.

If your HTML has a <title> and a <meta name="description">, both boxes are filled in for you when you paste or upload the HTML. You can change them. If a box stays empty we use your name and the start of your page.

Search Console, step by step
- In Google Search Console add a URL-prefix property for your page's address.
- Choose the HTML tag verification method.
- Copy the code from the tag (the part inside
content="…") and paste it in the Search Console tag field in your VIP tab. - Once your page is live, press Verify in Search Console.
Your page can only run the tracking you enter here, by ID. Tracking you paste into the HTML is removed.
Using tracking may need a cookie notice for your visitors in some countries. Check the rules where your visitors live.
