Facebook (Meta) Pixel: copy your Pixel ID

The Meta Pixel counts visits from your Facebook and Instagram ads and lets you build audiences. You only need the Pixel ID: a long number.

Steps

1. Open business.facebook.com → Events Manager and sign in.
2. Press Connect data sources → Web → Meta Pixel. Name your Pixel and add your page address (copy it from your VIP tab).
3. Open your Pixel and copy the Pixel ID. It is a number with 15 or 16 digits, for example 123456789012345.
4. In your VIP tab, paste it in the Facebook Pixel ID box.
5. Save or send your page for review.

How to check it works

Install the free Meta Pixel Helper browser extension and open your live page. It shows a green check when the Pixel is found. In Events Manager, PageView events appear after a short time.

Your page sends PageView events. Numbers only: if you paste letters or code, you will see Please check the Facebook Pixel ID.

Common problems
