Microsoft Clarity: copy your Project ID

Microsoft Clarity is free. It shows heatmaps and recordings of how people use your page. You only need your Project ID.

Steps

1. Open clarity.microsoft.com and sign in.
2. Press New project. Give it a name and paste your page address (copy it from your VIP tab).
3. Open Settings → Overview. Copy the Project ID. It is a short mix of lowercase letters and numbers, for example k4x9m2abcd.
4. In your VIP tab, paste it in the Microsoft Clarity ID box.
5. Save or send your page for review.

How to check it works

When your page is live, visit it once. In Clarity, the dashboard starts to fill in within a few hours, and recordings appear after a short delay.

Common problems

Problem	What to do
Please check the Microsoft Clarity ID	Copy only the Project ID: lowercase letters and numbers, no spaces.
Dashboard is empty	Your page must be live. Clarity can take a few hours for the first data.
