Business email: what we accept

The Business email is the address customers use to contact you. It is shown on your listing (protected from spam bots).

Best choice

An address on your own website domain that customers already use, for example info@yourbusiness.com or hello@yourbusiness.com.

We may ask you to change it when

• It is an address used only for directory sign-ups (for example listings@…).
• It is a personal address and you have a business website with its own email.
• It does not match your business at all.

Automatic checks

• Format: it must be a real email address.
• Typos: for big providers we suggest a fix, e.g. "Did you mean name@gmail.com?" — click Use it.
• Throw-away addresses (temporary inboxes) are refused.
• The domain must be able to receive email. If not, you will see "The domain … cannot receive email."

The Business email is separate from the email you sign in with. Changing it does not change your login.
