Google Analytics (GA4) shows who visits your page and where they come from. You only need one thing: your Measurement ID.

Steps

  1. Open analytics.google.com and sign in. Create a GA4 property if you do not have one.
  2. Open Admin → Data streams and press Add stream → Web.
  3. Paste your page address (copy it from your VIP tab) and give the stream a name. Press Create stream.
  4. Copy the Measurement ID. It starts with G-, for example G-AB12CD34EF.
  5. In your VIP tab, paste it in the Google Analytics ID box.
  6. Save or send your page for review.

How to check it works

  1. When your page is live, open it in one browser tab.
  2. In Google Analytics open Reports → Realtime. You should see yourself within a minute.

Use the Measurement ID (it starts with G-). The older UA- numbers stopped working in 2023 and are not accepted.
