LinkedIn Insight Tag: copy your Partner ID

The LinkedIn Insight Tag measures visits from your LinkedIn ads and builds audiences. You only need your Partner ID: a number.

Steps

1. Open LinkedIn Campaign Manager and sign in. Choose your ad account.
2. Open Analyze → Insight Tag (or Account assets → Insight Tag) and press Manage insight tag.
3. Choose I will install the tag myself. In the code shown you will see a line like _linkedin_partner_id = "1234567".
4. Copy only the number (for example 1234567). This is your Partner ID.
5. In your VIP tab, paste it in the LinkedIn Partner ID box.
6. Save or send your page for review.

How to check it works

When your page is live, open it. In Campaign Manager the Insight Tag status changes to Active after a short time. The free LinkedIn Insight Tag Helper extension also shows it.

Common problems

Problem	What to do
Please check the LinkedIn Partner ID	Paste digits only. Do not paste the quotes or the code around the number.
Status stays unverified	Your page must be live and visited. Add your page address as an allowed domain if LinkedIn asks.
